You can edit both draft and submitted supplier responses up until the closing time of the request. When you edit a submitted response, you withdraw the submission to re-open it for editing, which puts it back into draft mode.
Prerequisites
- You must be the Supplier who created the response.
- The request or tender must not have passed its closing time.
Editing a Draft Response
Use these steps to continue working on an incomplete response that is saved as a draft.

Click the red pen and paper icon next to the request.

Alternative: Access drafts from the left-side menu under To-Do Tasks or by hovering over My Responses and selecting Draft responses.
Click the green finish? button or edit button to continue your response.

Editing a Submitted Response
If you have already submitted your response, the pen and paper icon will appear green.
- Note: Clicking this icon on a submitted response will prompt you to create a new response, which you may or may not want to do.
Use these steps to edit a response you have already posted to the buyer.
- Click the You’ve responded link to view your response(s).
- Click the Edit link next to the response you want to change.
- Read the warning message, then click Withdraw and re-open response to confirm that you are withdrawing your submission to re-open it for editing.
- Result: The response is now in draft mode and all previously entered data is available for editing.
- Make your changes and click the Save and Continue button at the bottom of the relevant sections.
- Go to the Save Response tab and click the Post to buyer button to re-submit your response.
Important Notes & Limits
- If you withdraw a submitted response, you must re-post it by clicking Post to buyer before the close time for the Buyer to receive it. If you don't re-submit, the Buyer will not have access to your response.
