Managing Your Tender Digest Notifications

This article explains how to manage your daily Tender Digest email notifications, which inform you of new tender opportunities. Use these steps to configure your delivery days and ensure the digest content is relevant to your business by updating your regions of service, Marketplace Supplier Lists, and categories.

Prerequisites

  • You must have a registered VendorPanel - a Unimarket Company account.

Steps to Configure Tender Digest Notifications

The Tender Digest summarizes all new tenders since your last digest and is sent daily. You can manage the delivery days and completely disable the digest from the Options and Settings page.

  1. Navigate to your dashboard and click the link to Options and Settings.
  2. In the settings, you can:
    • Choose the specific days of the week you wish to receive the Tender Digest.
       
    • Disable the Tender Digest entirely if you prefer not to receive these notifications.

Steps to Manage Content Criteria

Your Tender Digest is created based on three criteria: Regions of Service, Marketplace Supplier Lists, and Marketplace Categories.

1. Regions of Service

Your digest includes Public Tenders matching the regions where you are registered to provide services.

  1. Visit the Settings and Options page, accessible via the link on your dashboard.
  2. Click the link to Manage your Regions of Service.

     
  3. Select/deselect the Regions of Service to reflect the areas where you are able to perform work.

2. Marketplace Supplier Lists

The lists you are registered on determine which opportunities are included in your Tender Digest.

  • To join new lists:
    1. Click the Register on Marketplace link on your dashboard.
  • To remove yourself or mark yourself inactive on a list:
    1. Go to the Supplier Lists You Manage page via the link on your dashboard.
    2. In the Active column for the relevant supplier list, click Active to change your status.

3. Marketplace Categories

Your registration within specific categories under your Marketplace Supplier Lists also influences the content of your Tender Digest.

  1. Go to the Supplier Lists You’re On page, via the link on your dashboard.
  2. On this page, click the link in the Request Categories column for a specific list.
     
  3. Access and edit your categories for that respective list.

Results/Validation 

By managing these settings, you ensure your Tender Digest is relevant and tailored to your business needs and availability.

Troubleshooting

  • Not receiving the digest: Check your spam or junk folder. Ensure your email address is correct in your profile settings.
  • Digest has irrelevant content: Review and update your Regions of Service and Marketplace Categories using the steps above.
