A Vendor Admin will have the ability to set themselves inactive on or delete their profile from the Marketplace Supplier lists they are registered on.
You cannot do this against a Preferred Supplier List as this can only be done by a List Owner. You would need to contact them directly to request changes to your profile status on the list.
If you set yourself as inactive or delete your profile on the Marketplace, Buyers will no longer be able to select your profile to invite you to a request. They will no longer see their profile on the list. You will also no longer have the opportunity to respond to public tenders on this list.
The instructions below will go through how you can do both:
-
- Select Supplier Lists you manage under the Admin Tools menu (either in the top menubar or on the homepage on the left-side menu).
- Navigate to the green Active link next to the Marketplace list you would like to be set as inactive on. This is located to the right of the list name under the Active Status column.
- Click on the Active link to set yourself as inactive on that specific Marketplace Supplier list.
- This will change the green Active link to a red Inactive link. You can change their status back to Active by simply clicking on the link again.
- When your status is Inactive, if neither the Vendor Admin nor any Colleagues have not made any responses against that particular Supplier list then you will have the option to delete yourself from the list by clicking on the red trash can icon that appears.
- Select Supplier Lists you manage under the Admin Tools menu (either in the top menubar or on the homepage on the left-side menu).
You can only delete yourself from a Supplier list if you (or your colleagues) have not sent any responses on that particular Supplier list.
If you have sent a response on a particular Supplier list (even if your submission was unsuccessful) then you cannot be deleted from the list due to the requirement for historical data. In this case, you can only be made inactive on the Supplier list.
