Once a Supplier has created a response, you can continue editing it up until the closing time. You can edit both 'draft' and 'submitted' responses during this time.
Editing a Draft Response
When your response is saved as a draft you will see a red pen and paper icon against the request. You can click on the icon to continue working on your response.
You will also access your response drafts from the left-side menu on the homepage under To-Do Tasks and also by hovering over My Responses in the menubar and selecting to view 'Draft' responses.
Both options above will take you to a list of your incomplete responses that are still in draft. You can click on the green finish? button or edit button to continue/complete your response.
Editing a Submitted Response
If you have already submitted your response, the pen and paper icon will appear green. If you click on the icon at this stage then it will prompt you to create a new response (in addition to the already sent response). You can find more information on how you can submit multiple responses here: Submitting More Than One Response to a Request or Tender.
You can click on the You’ve responded link to view your response(s).
Next, you can click you can click on the Edit link to edit the response. If you have multiple responses to the one Request/Tender then they will all appear here.
Before you are able to edit your response you are provided with a warning message that explains that selecting to edit a submitted response means you will be withdrawing your submission to re-open it for editing. This will place your response into draft mode and all previously entered data will be available for editing.
To confirm, you will need to click on the Withdraw and re-open response button.
Once the response is reopened, you can make changes to the response and save any changes by clicking the Update button at the bottom of the relevant sections.
Once you have made your changes, you can go to the Save Response tab and click on the Post to buyer button.
If you choose to withdraw a submitted response then you will need to make sure you re-post your response before the close time for it to be submitted to the Buyer. If you withdraw the response and don't submit it before the close time then the Buyer will not have access to your response.
