Clarifies the rules and procedures regarding submission deadlines and the acceptance of late responses by the Buyer.
The Late Response Policy
Once a Request or Tender has closed, Suppliers will not be able to submit a response. VendorPanel- a Unimarket Company cannot accept a late response for a tender. This decision is the sole prerogative of the Buyer and not the platform.
What to Do If You Miss a Deadline
If you miss a closing deadline, you should contact the Buyer or the Buying Organisation directly as soon as possible.
Finding Contact Details:
- If the Buyer has chosen to keep their personal details private, we suggest you try contacting the Buying Organisation’s general point of contact (usually found via the Contact Details on their website).
- Ask to speak with the Procurement Team.
Note: Each organisation operates differently, so contacting them directly is the quickest way to address a missed deadline.
Accepting a Late Response
It is entirely the Buyer's decision as to whether they will accept your late response.
If the Buyer decides to accept it, they have two options for allowing your submission:
- Re-open the Request/Tender to all Suppliers.
- Issue a late-response link (if this feature is enabled for their enterprise).
