This article details the steps a Vendor can follow to submit a Request for Information (RFI) against a contract. Use this when you need to ask a question to the organisation regarding a specific contract.
Prerequisites
- You must be logged in to the organisation's Contracts Management system.
- You need to know the specific contract your question relates to.
Steps to Submit a Request for Information
You can start submitting an RFI either from the Contracts Dashboard or the Contract Details screen.
Option A: From the Contracts Dashboard
- Navigate to the Contract Specific Actions section at the top of the page.
- Select the relevant contract.
- Select Request for Information from the options.
- Click Go.
Option B: From the Contract Details
- On the Contracts Dashboard, click on the contract title to open the details.
- Go to the Registers tab (if visible).
- Locate the Requests for Information section.
- Click on the big plus (+) button on the right to create a new item.
Enter and Submit the Request
- Enter your question in the provided field.
- If necessary, use the attachment function to attach documents to your request.
- Once the question and any documents are ready, submit the request.
Results / Validation
- The Contract Manager at the organisation will be notified of your submission.
- They will respond to your request via the system, at which point you will receive a notification.
- You can track the status and history of your requests under the Requests for Information section of the Contracts Dashboard.
