To begin using VendorPanel-a Unimarket Company, you must first register on a Supplier List. There are three main ways you can register on a list:
- Self-registering on the Public Marketplace lists.
- Being invited to register on an organisation's Preferred Supplier List.
- Being invited to register as a Colleague to an existing company profile on a Supplier List.
If you already have a VendorPanel-a Unimarket Company account and want to register for additional lists, see the Registering on Additional Supplier Lists.
Prerequisites
- Supplier Status: You must be acting on behalf of a company or organisation that is a Supplier of goods or services.
- Unique Email Address: A valid, unique email address to receive your registration or invitation link.
- Company Research (Recommended): If registering on the Public Marketplace, check if your organisation already has an existing profile on that list to prevent creating a duplicate account for your company.
Register on the Public Marketplace
The Public Marketplace lists are owned and managed by VendorPanel-a Unimarket Company and are open to the public. Buying organisations across Australia use these lists to find suppliers for quotes and tenders.
Steps :
- Check with your organisation to see if a profile already exists on the list to avoid duplicates.
- Go to the Marketplace.
- Select the relevant list and categories you want to be listed under.
- Fill out your details and request to register.
- Check your email for a confirmation email with a link to set up your account.
- Click the link and follow the prompts to complete your account and profile registration.
Register on a Preferred Supplier List
Preferred Supplier Lists are owned and managed by an organisation (government or corporate) that uses VendorPanel-a Unimarket Company. These lists are generally invitation-only unless the list has a self-registration link made public.
Steps :
-
Contact the organisation that runs the list you want to join (the list owner) and ask them to send an invitation to your email address.
Tip: Start with your state or territory's Local Government Association (LGA), which runs lists shared with councils. The LGAs include:
- New South Wales's Local Government Procurement (LGP)
- Queensland's Local Buy (also used by Northern Territory councils)
- South Australia's LGA Procurement
- Victoria's Municipal Association of Victoria (MAV)
- Western Australia's WALGA
- Tasmania's LGAT
- Once invited, check your email for a notification from VendorPanel-a Unimarket Company with a link to set up your account or register the list to your existing account.
- Click the link and follow the prompts to complete your registration.
Limits & Notes
- If the invitation is sent to the same email address as an existing VendorPanel-a Unimarket Company account, the new list will link to your current account.
- If the invitation is sent to a different email address, you will need to register a new account under that email. It's recommended to contact the list owner and ask them to resend the invitation to the correct, existing email address.
Register as a Colleague
If your company already has a profile on a Supplier List, the current user who manages that profile (Vendor Admin) can invite other people to register as a Colleague. Colleagues receive the same requests/tenders as the Vendor Admin and can submit their own responses.
Steps:
- Ask your company's Vendor Admin for the list to send you an invitation.
- Note: The List Owner can also send invitations to colleagues on behalf of a Vendor Admin. The Vendor Admin can find instructions here: Suppliers Adding and Removing Colleagues.
- Check your email for the invitation link.
- Click the link to set up your account or register as a colleague within your existing account.
